By real­iz­ing that we offer more than just our “spe­cialty,” that we offer empow­er­ment, holis­tic think­ing and life change rather than nar­rowly focused dis­ease treat­ment — we can view our­selves as well­ness pro­fes­sion­als.

There is strength in num­bers.  What if we had one place where all of us could con­tribute our thoughts in arti­cles and in the forums?  One place where we could be found by search engines and poten­tial clients? That’s what the More Health Less Care Alliance is all about.

What if we could help Amer­ica wake up to the idea that “alter­na­tive” care, coach­ing and life change should be “main­stream” and tra­di­tional med­ical care should be the last resort? That’s what the More Health Less Care Alliance is all about.

If you’ve read the last post you can see where we’re headed with our web­site.  Think of the Alliance web­site as kind of the Face­book and LinkedIn of well­ness.

It will give you a place to:

• Cre­ate a cus­tom pro­file page explain­ing who you are and how you can help clients.  Your pro­file links to all of your con­tent on the site.
• Pub­lish arti­cles to the web linked to your pro­file.
• Post audio and video con­tent to the web linked back to your pro­file.
• Par­tic­i­pate in well­ness forums and have all posts linked back to your pro­file.
• Be more notice­able to search engines by virtue of being on a more heav­ily traf­ficked site than your own site or a spe­cialty site.
• Be dis­cov­ered by clients using the direc­tory search who might not oth­er­wise under­stand how you could help them.

As we grow we will add new func­tion­al­ity as we can and as you sug­gest it to us.  And as the Alliance grows we can have more than a web­site — per­haps an inter­net radio and TV chan­nel and live events such as sem­i­nars, con­fer­ences, well­ness expos and even sport­ing events.

We don’t think this should cost a lot.  Our goal is “chang­ing the world” and hav­ing fun while we do it.  Nev­er­the­less we have expenses and plan charge Pro­fes­sional Mem­bers $9.95 per month for the ben­e­fits we’ve out­lined.  No con­tract.  No long-term com­mit­ment.  Just “wel­come aboard” and “please par­tic­i­pate!” We hope you will see value far greater than this mod­est fee.
